I don't want to buy a dock. Waah waah waah

So I have a Motorola Atrix. I love it infinitely better than my husband's LG Thrill (which used to be my phone.) It's an older Atrix. I think it's the first version.

I am LDS, and I teach a class at my church to the girls aged 12-13. Sometimes (usually) I am not as prepared as I would like to be. But lucky me, there are lots of video clips available now to help out with my class. I just hook up the phone to the TV with an HDMI cable, find the file, and press play.

What annoys me is that I can't just browse my phone, instead I have to use their entertainment thingy. They want me to buy an expensive dock. And I actually do know the real terms for these things, but I am feeling kind of tired and not in the mood to be technical.

Point is, I spent a while trying to enable ADB on my phone and for some reason it wouldn't work. I think it had to do with an incorrect path or something. But. Basically I haven't done it yet. It's a pain.

Fortunately the clips I wanted for this Sunday were downloadable. Anything I can download, I can play fine. Which is about half of the clips.

I guess I will just borrow my husband's phone to play my clips on. Then it will work, that is, if his phone doesn't lose all it's battery life in the process. So, 50% probability of it working. Hmm.
